There are soooooooo many modeling scams that it is impossible to list them all. They just go on forever and some people are just so tricky that they constantly come up with new ways of getting girls to part with their (or their parents) hard earned cash. It is sometimes difficult to accept what lengths some people will go to take advantage of some people wide eyed innocence and dreams. As a young girl from the countryside my parents were bemused by how to handle a teenager being asked to model - it was a whole new world. Remember that there are so few models that actually make it, and so few agencies that can actually move mountains and get you work and maintain it. Therefore use common sense that someone that has turned up in your local town to find new faces to sign may not be the way forward! The best way is to treat modeling like a business and not a hobby and take the whole thing seriously.
