rejection badly and come to accept it in any other way than
personally.If you are rejected from dozens of agencies or from jobs then don’t think it is your fault
or because you are not beautiful or good enough. It is business decision in a busy world. Just think about your goal of becoming a model! Do not forget that, this is not a fun game, it is serious stuff. There are often millions of pounds of sales resting on an ad campaign, or the carefully constructed image of the glossy magazine at risk. If you interview for any other type of job you cannot expect to get every interview going. It is the same with fashion modeling.
Become a model - become tough
It is just that the numbers of rejections can be higher and denser as the number of model castings you can attend can be much higher than interviews and therefore the chances of rejection are much higher. But, remember everyone has been there. ALL models, including the most successful have been rejected dozens if not hundreds of times. You have to develop a thick skin, consider how you can improve your chances next time or speak to your agent and move on to the next opportunity. It is a serious bummer to miss out on a big job when you have been waiting at home crossing your fingers but you just have to think that things happen for a reason and with a bit of luck something better will turn up shortly – which it usually does!
